Steady Holiday is Dre Babinski. Until recently you could find her playing in bands around LA, and making a record with some friends from Dr. Dog. She enjoyed the sidewoman life, but longed for an outlet of her own, writing and recording in secret, developing a body of work about hidden desire itself.

"Your Version of Me", her first single as Steady Holiday, was released to immediate praise and caught the attention of Coachella founder Paul Tollett, who added the band to the 2016 festival, where they were a breakout hit. Her debut LP Under the Influence was released a few months later to glowing praise. In September of that year Steady Holiday opened for Unknown Mortal Orchestra at the Santa Monica Pier; in October she toured with Islands; in November she headlined the Bootleg, and LA Weekly named her the city’s Best Solo Artist. In 2017 she's toured with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, played shows with Mitski and will tour Japan in October.

In the wake of the 2016 election Dre recorded three new songs dealing with our new reality in different ways, collected in the Terror EP. A gorgeous remix and a home recording of a new, hopeful song round it out and light the way forward. Featuring Josh Adams (Jenny Lewis) and produced by Gus Seyffert (The Black Keys, Beck), the Terror EP was released by Infinite Best (Mr Twin Sister, Islands) on April 7th and celebrated with a sold out release party at Resident LA.
